Samuel Timothy "Tim" McGraw (born May 1, 1967) is an American country singer and actor. Many of McGraw's albums and singles have topped the country music charts, leading him to achieve total album sales in excess of 40 million units. He is married to country singer Faith Hill and is the son of former baseball player Tug McGraw. His trademark hit songs include "Indian Outlaw", "Don't Take the Girl", "I Like It, I Love It", "Something Like That", "It's Your Love" (featuring his wife, Faith Hill), and "Live Like You Were Dying".
As a child, Tim McGraw loved to play competitive sports, including baseball, even though he did not know his biological father was a professional athlete. He attended Northeast Louisiana University, now the University of Louisiana at Monroe, on a baseball scholarship and became a member of the Pi Kappa Alpha Fraternity. During his college period, he learned to play guitar and would frequently perform and sing for tips, although he claims that his roommates often hid the guitar because he was so bad.
In 1992, he had his first minor hit with "Welcome to the Club" off his self-titled debut album. Although the album failed to make much of a dent on the charts, McGraw did have two other minor hits from it in 1993, "Memory Lane" and "Two Steppin Mind."
His second album, Not a Moment Too Soon, was much more successful, becoming best selling country album in 1994. The first single, "Indian Outlaw", caused considerable controversy as critics argued that it presented Native Americans in a patronizing way.
McGraw's next album, 1997's Everywhere, again topped the country charts and reached number two on the album charts, selling 4 million copies.
In 2000, McGraw released his Greatest Hits album which topped the charts for nine weeks and sold almost 6 million copies, making it one of the biggest selling albums in the modern country market. In the latter half of the year, he and Hill went out on the Soul2Soul Tour, playing to sellout crowds in 64 venues including Madison Square Garden.
2004's Live Like You Were Dying continued McGraw's record of commercial success.
im's twelfth studio album, Southern Voice, will be released October 20, 2009 and will be lead by the single "It's A Business Doing Pleasure With You," which was shipped to radio outlets in late June 2009.
As his success has grown, McGraw has become increasingly interested in giving back to the community. When McGraw first reached fame in 1994, he established his annual Swampstock event.
McGraw, a Democrat, has stated that he would one day like to run for public office in the future, possibly for Senate or governor of Tennessee, his (adopted) home state.

In a 2007 US Magazine interview, Pratt revealed previous substance abuse problems and discussed an incident in which Pratt shoplifted $1,300 worth of merchandise from a Neiman Marcus in Honolulu in 2006, where she was working as a production assistant on ABC’s "LOST".
On October 18, 2009, Pratt was arrested in Hollywood, California, on suspicion of drunken driving and booked into a jail in Van Nuys. She was released several hours later after posting the USD $5,000 bail.

On July 6, 2002, Filarski married her college boyfriend, former professional football quarterback Tim Hasselbeck. The couple have a daughter, Grace Elisabeth, born in April 2005;[16] and two sons—Taylor Thomas, born in November 2007; and Isaiah Timothy, born in August 2009.

Hasselbeck is a supporter of breast cancer awareness initiatives in the form of an internet-only PSA on breast cancer diagnosis.

Hasselbeck is living with celiac disease. She has written a book on the subject, The G-Free Diet: A Gluten-Free Survival Guide, which has appeared on several best-seller lists. On June 23, 2009, a lawsuit was filed in a federal court in Massachusetts alleging that her book was plagiarized from a self-published book by Susan Hasset, a Cape Cod author who first published her book in 2008, more than one year before Hasselbeck's book was released. Hasselbeck released a statement calling the allegations baseless. The claim will be heard in the US District Court in the District of Massachusetts.

Rycroft appeared on the thirteenth season of The Bachelor as one of the twenty-five bachelorettes vying for the heart of The Bachelor, Jason Mesnick. In the season finale, M esnick chose Rycroft over runner-up, Molly Malaney, and proposed to her. Rycroft said yes. But following the episode, ABC aired the After the Final Rose (Part One) episode, which was taped six weeks after the season finale episode, and it was then that Mesnick revealed that he was breaking up with Rycroft, stating that he was still in love with Molly Malaney.

Dancing with the Stars

Rycroft replaced Access Hollywood's Nancy O'Dell on the eighth season of Dancing with the Stars after O'Dell withdrew from the competition due to an injury sustained during pre-season practice. Rycroft was partnered with professional dancer Tony Dovolani, and competed on the season premiere episode having only practiced for two days, the shortest amount of practice time for any contestant in the show's history. Despite this, she tied for second place for week one's performances. On May 19, 2009, Rycroft finished third on the Dancing with the Stars finale.
